MarketingOC Helps Canon & Time Warner Cable Acquire New Customers & Train Customer Service Teams
Canon is a global market leader in consumer electronics, so when they enlisted MarketingOCÂ’s services to help launch a new interactive TV service through their partnership with Time Warner Cable, we knew we had our work cut out for us.
The Canon Photo Channel was a new service test concept developed by Canon to extend digital photo viewing, sharing and printing beyond the computer and into the family room. Now, instead of just viewing photos on the PC, photos could be accessed via their TV on their Time Warner digital cable set top box in their family room. This goal, while simple and straightforward in concept, was a paradigm shift from the way digital photos have typically been consumed (in print or on the PC). This presented a challenge for two main groups:
Time Warner Customer Service Representatives: Responsible for selling and supporting this innovative service, they needed to understand the technology, as well as the consumer benefits of this innovative service.
Time Warner Digital Cable Subscribers: These are the potential customers and they needed to truly grasp the concept and most importantly, appreciate the benefits of this service so they would be motivated to subscribe to this service.
MarketingOC accepted the challenge of creating and implementing a complete advertising and training campaign for this innovative TV service including training video, internal web site, direct mail, email marketing and printed training materials.
Our successful execution of this project led to more successful projects with Canon and our relationship with Canon continues today. We look forward to starting our relationship with you! Contact us today.
